Aquarian Beginnings

If you haven’t already noticed, February this year is lacking a full moon this year.  So the new moon this month holds some rare ‘umph’ energy, there’s a partial eclipse that amps its energy up even more, and it just happens to be in the most eccentric and visionary sign of the zodiac, Aquarius!

Aquarius is also housing Mercury at the moment - our intellect is thriving right now!  This new moon calls us to reflect.  Look at the past 6 months, since the solar eclipse in Leo, and what have you discovered about yourself?  How much have you grown?  What is it that shines about you?  See, Leo taught us to shine, Aquarius tends to bring out our uniqueness.  So this new moon also asks what makes us so different and how can we honor that uniqueness?  Bring it out!  We are all born with such differences so we can help and build each other up!  Aquarius celebrates humanity in all its forms.

And all these ideas that are popping up, seemingly out of nowhere - write them down!  New moons are new beginnings, and these ideas are the seeds!  And these ideas won’t be familiar or predictable - this is Aquarius energy people!  They will have you questioning yourself at times, but as always, trust your gut and jot them down.  What does seem practical or even remotely make sense now, might be plausible later… or maybe Aquarius is asking you to take a leap of faith in that direction.  Whatever the case may be, these seeds are prime for growth and development of what is uniquely yours!

At the end of this week, beginning of next, we have Mercury entering Pisces (along with the Sun ending its transit thru Aquarius and moving to Pisces) joining Venus - this is a time where we connect with others thru our heart.  Pisces always brings love and healing, but that healing my require some tough conversations to be had.

Just flow this week!  Keep your mind and heart open to new ventures and healing.  Spend some time with friends and those who lift you up.  And make sure to plant those new ideas when the time comes (write them down!) - and enjoy the energies this new moon in Aquarius brings us this week!
